Wash and towel-dry your hair. Apply a nickel-size amount of straightening gel to the damp hair. Comb your hair to work the gel through it.

Blow-dry your hair in small sections, using your dryer's medium heat setting. Use a paddle brush to smooth your hair as it is drying.
