For a side twist, perfect for a little girl's hair at a special occasion, you need a hair tie and a few pins. This look is an excellent one to use with glittery hair pins, as the twist shows off the jewels nicely. Part the girl's hair slightly to the side, then gather two small pieces near the front of her hair, just above the top of the ear. Begin twisting the pieces together, adding more hair to the strands as you go and working towards the back of the hair. Secure the twist with the ponytail holder and pin it for added security.
